We are looking to hire an Estimator to be a part of our energetic and growing team. This new position within our company would include the following responsibilities:

  • Drafting Request for Quotes (RFQs)
  • Scheduling and attending pre-bid walk through at job sites with trade partners
  • Developing preliminary budgets swiftly
  • Estimating projects using vendor and trade partner quotes, as well as in-house knowledge
  • Performing post-construction actual cost reviews
  • Maintaining an estimating database for co-workers to reference
  • Utilizing your unique skill set in this new position to best support the company

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Drafting construction agreements
  • Improving estimating process
  • Preparing special orders

Our ideal candidate would have:

  • Minimum 5 years trade experience
  • Experience must include estimating activities
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office
  • Able to read and interpret building plans
  • Excellent communication skills, and is a detail-oriented, responsive, critical and creative thinker

 

We are looking for a talented Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our fast paced and fun team. This person must possess a strong background in design, sales, project management and experience in CAD, preferably Chief Architect. We are looking for someone creative, committed and detail oriented that’s ready to jump in! Since 1988, GDI has been a Design, Build, Renovate firm, creating space that is both beautiful and functional from additions and renovations to custom new homes. Our Kitchen and Bath Designers are an integral part of our business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Kitchen and bath design in CAD/Chief Architect
  • Sales and client management
  • Product specifying and ordering of materials
  • Assist field staff with projects, from beginning to end

Our ideal candidate would have:

  • Minimum 5 years kitchen and bath design experience in CAD, preferably Chief Architect
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, and is a detail-oriented, responsive, critical and creative thinker
